After setting up pip and importing all the modules needed, the book was deemed very worthwhile. The book includes a chapter on Raspberry Pi, which may come as a surprise, but it is easy to follow. The reader appreciated the book as an excellent introduction to NumPy and Matplotlib and found it to be better than the four others they have on the subject. However, they note that it would have been helpful if an index were included.
